Hey...do you remember what you were doing 8 years ago today?
My ex-husband had his pickup truck repo'd and I had to drive him from Hampton, VA, to Richmond, VA, to get it. My daughter and I were driving back when the 2 planes hit the two towers and I was so shocked. When I got home from taking my daughter to school and I was getting ready for work, I heard that the plane had went down in Pennsylvania and one had hit the Pentagon.
I worked Customer Service for UPS at the time at a call center and we weren't getting ANY calls from the east coast. When we did start getting calls from the west coast, people couldn't understand why they couldn't send anything to the east coast. They started to get mad because none of them had seen the news. It was an interesting to say the least.
Keep the families of the victims in your thoughts and prayers today.

Its hard to belive it has been 8 yrs i was at my parents. I spent a good day in the hospital waiting for my mom to get realised
ReplyDeleteI was at home getting my kids off to school. I turned on the radio while I was in the kitchen making their lunches and heard that a plane had hit one of the Twin Towers. I went to turn on the TV and just then the second plane hit. The kids went to school and they sent them right back home.
